A muscarinic M2 and M3 receptor antagonist (Kis = 0.68 and 2.6 nM, respectively); has antispasmodic activity in cats and dogs when administered at a dose of 0.5 mg/kg; decreases airspace enlargement induced by elastase or cigarette smoke in a mouse model of COPD; reduces oxidative stress, decreases the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines, and increases the expression of anti-inflammatory cytokines in a mouse model of diabetic wound healing
