L-erythro Sphinganine (d18:0) is a synthetic bioactive sphingolipid and stereoisomer of sphinganine (d18:0) (Item No. 10007945) and D-threo sphinganine (Item No. 24375).{40752} It induces autophagy in HCT116 cells when used at a concentration of 12 μM. L-erythro Sphinganine induces cell cycle arrest of 7R4-LCB1 yeast cells.{39518} It is metabolized via sphinganine N-acyltransferase and sphinganine kinase in vivo in rat liver.{40753} [Matreya, LLC.
