BKT 140 is an antagonist of chemokine (C-X-C motif) receptor 4 (CXCR4; IC50 = 0.91 nM).{54472} It inhibits HIV-1-induced cytopathogenicity in MT-4 cells with an EC50 value of 4 nM.
