A sulfatide lacking the fatty acyl group; decreases migration and adhesion of B35 neuroblastoma cells at 20 µM; inhibits PKC and cytochrome c at 150 and 50-100 µM, respectively; levels increase in ASA-deficient mice; has been used as a standard for the quantification of sulfatides by LC-MS
