A quinone bacterial metabolite; inhibits the growth of the bacteria M. gallisepticum, M. pneumoniae, and S. aureus in vitro (MICs = 0.39-3.13 μg/ml); inhibits the growth of the plant pathogenic fungus P. oryzae (MIC = 3.12 μg/ml) and several species of Trichophyton (MICs = 12.5-25 μg/ml)
