A nucleoside antibiotic with herbicidal activity; prevents rice seed germination (MIC = 6.25 µg/ml); protects young rice plants from bacterial leaf blight when applied at 100 ppm; inhibits TNF-α-induced NF-κB activity and induces cytotoxicity in HEK293 cells (IC50s = 1.8 and 2.7 µM, respectively)
