An aromatic positional isomer of 3,4-MDMA (ecstasy) that exhibits a similar potency to 3,4-MDMA for inhibition of the noradrenalin transporter (IC50s = 6.2 and 6.6 μM, respectively) but is less potent than 3,4-MDMA for inhibition of the serotonin transporter (IC50s = 82 μM and 34.8 μM, respectively)
